Making the PYP Happen
A curriculum framework for international primary education

We at Doshisha International School, Kyoto strive to practice what we preach. As reflection and study is necessary for growth & development we constantly review what we have done in order to improve our teaching practice. As an IB World School, we are fortunate to be a part of an international group of like-minded educators with access to a host of relevant, research-supported professional learning activities.

This site is a repository of some of what we have learned. Here you will find snippets of and excerpts from our in-school workshop, Making the PYP Happen, co-facilitated by Jai Bishop & Sean Thompson of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network.
